To answer the question everyone seems to ask: "Are you really sisters?" The answer is yes, we really are! Born and raised in Minnesota, we have always felt a strong connection to nature and all it offers to us. We both choose to live our lives simply and close to the earth, so forming EcoSisters™ was a natural transition for us. We really want to teach others that an extreme life change isn't necessary to contribute to the health of our planet; small, simple changes can add up to big changes! By purchasing our products, you are sharing in our dedication to our planet and future generations.

About Julie
Julie shares a "mine, yours, and ours" family with her husband Jerry in Park Rapids, Minnesota. When she's not chasing her seven children around (Amanda, Stu, Jordan, Tim, Riley, Brennan, & Jesse) or focusing on EcoSisters™, she somehow finds enough energy to run a full-time daycare as well. The queen of thriftiness, Julie is always looking for new and inventive ways to be self-sufficient.

About Tara
An attorney by trade, Tara's true passions are sustainable living, writing, and anything that gets her outdoors. She divides her time between EcoSisters™ and her solo law practice. Tara lives in Nevis, Minnesota with her husband Eric in a log home on a lake built by Eric and his dad. The couple shares their home with their cat Gracie, two out-of-control vegetable gardens, 20 happy chickens, and one very demanding rooster.
